Posted by a Friend of the Wheeler Family

Jim & Kathy

Many people don’t know what to do during this time of grief for you and your family. Some people have stopped by to say that they love you; others have called to offer words of support. We will unrelentingly call out your names to the Lord, asking that he continues to comfort and heal your family.

This blog is a simple way of us letting you know that we love you and pray for your family.

From this point forward others will be able to post words of encouragement to this blog, allowing your family to read them and respond in your own way, on your own schedule.

We will continue to be there for you and want you to know that we love you,

With love and understanding,

Dear Wheeler Family,

I have been praying for all of you and will continue to pray for you. I know what it feels like to hit rock bottom. I have been at a point in my life where I felt defeated. I spent so much time crying out to God over everything. I found myself so focused on the reason why. Why? I was so frustrated because I couldn't understand it. So I found myself searching in God's Word and this verse stuck out to me in Psalms 55:16
"....But I call to God, and the Lord saves me. Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and He hears my voice."
God is love. And I know that is true. He reached down and lifted me up in my darkest hour. There's nothing I could ever do to make God love me any less. I found myself repeating that over and over in order to let go of my pain, so that I could be the person He wants me to be.
We will never understand why things happen, but we do understand love. Love has saved us. I hope my story helped you in some way and I will continue to pray for God's peace in each of your lives.

As a member of the congregation I felt the Spirit of the Lord just enfold us all in His comforting peace. My prayer is that you and your family will abide in His peace during this difficult time. Thank you for allowing us, your church family, to join in your prayers.

Dear Jim, Kathy and children,

We lift up your name to Jesus. He said cast your cares upon Him for he cares for us. God alone knows this grief you bear, because He bore the same when Jesus was crucified. There are no words adequate to say. We can only offer our arms to hold you, shoulders on which to cry, and our knees bent in prayer. This is part and privilege of being a child of God. We will remain steadfast in pray for you now and in these times ahead. May God's grace, comfort, mercy, peace, love and healing be poured down upon you all. May the balm of Gilead be poured over your head and hearts. Jesus heals the broken-hearted and binds up the wounded. Look to Jesus! Fix your gaze upon Him and run into His strong tower where the righteous are safe. Shelter yourselves under His wing, where nothing shall buffet you.

With all our love,

Dear jacob & family,

i cannot say im sorry or that i know how it feels to loose someone you love because i don't. Even thinking about it makes my heart drop. Your' the one in class jacob that puts a smile on everyones face whether you decide your white or gangster, all the class talks about is how to make YOU laugh now, how to help you. Esspecially me, if you need a shoulder to lean on or just someone to crack you up when your feeling bad come talk to me. i want to help you, not by celebrating your sister death because thats what sympathy sounds like, but i want to help you celebrate how she lived. She is adoriable and will always be in your and your familys heart. I hated hearing about the story and how the news has no simpathy at all towards it. Jacob, i wish you and your family the best and i send my love

again, im here when you just need a friend for suppport or just to goof around. = )

I still remember seeing Jim walking around during Pageant in the Velocity Center all happy with one of his babies in hand and drinks and food from McDonald's
for the family. Jolie is completely immune from the enemy now and forever more, but you are not. Remember that, so that in years to come, you stand strong, aware of that and don't let the enemy steal the joy of that proud and happy father that you STILL are, despite the trials. I didn't want to write anything, since I don't know you personally,
but I saw you today after church, getting in the car, and that just broke my heart, seeing your pain. I cry and pray for you. You have warriors praying for you against that destructive thought battle.
John 16-18 : And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever- the Spirit of truth.
The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.(NIV) 18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.(KJV)
